Four more Derby Twins runs crossed the plate in the third inning to extend the lead to 6-0. Jude Almaraz singled, scoring one run, and Noah Allison homered to left field, scoring three runs.
Four more Derby Twins runs crossed the plate in the fifth inning to extend the lead to 11-0. Jesse Saucedo homered to left field, scoring three runs, and Brit Vick hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
Josh Weaver earned the win for Derby Twins. The righty allowed one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out five and walking three. Nolan Fevurly took the loss for Haysville Aviators. The starter went three innings, surrendering six runs on four hits, striking out one and walking five. Beau Sweeney appeared in relief for Derby Twins.
Jesse Saucedo, the number nine hitter for Derby Twins, led the way with four runs batted in. The catcher went 2-for-3 on the day. Jude Almaraz and Jesse Saucedo each collected two hits for Derby Twins. Noah Allison paced Derby Twins with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying 10 walks for the game. Derby Twins turned one double play in the game.
Tyler Hand and Preston Gajewski each collected one hit for Haysville Aviators. Joe Fenlon led Haysville Aviators with one run batted in. Joe Fenlon paced Haysville Aviators with two walks.
