Noah Allison hit two home runs and drove in five as Derby Twins defeated Kingman Islanders 9-5 on Monday at Riverside Park. Noah Allison homered in the third and seventh innings.

Kingman Islanders were the first to get on the board in the first when Jack Jewell doubled, scoring one run.

Jude Almaraz homered to center field, which helped Derby Twins tie the game at one in the top of the second.

A home run to center field by Noah Allison gave Derby Twins the lead, 4-1, in the top of the third.

Kingman Islanders scored one run in the bottom of the sixth on a solo home run to right field by Jack Jewell.

Derby Twins added to their lead with four runs in the top of the seventh inning thanks to home runs by Noah Allison and Landon Sandy.

Landon Blais started on the hill for Derby Twins. The starter allowed six hits and two runs over five and one-third innings, striking out seven and walking two. Jake Bumgardner started on the hill for Kingman Islanders. The pitcher gave up seven hits and four runs over five innings, striking out six and walking two. Josh Weaver appeared in relief for Derby Twins.

Derby Twins piled up 14 hits in the game. Noah Allison and Gavin Mesa were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Derby Twins. Spencer Simpson and Jude Almaraz each collected multiple hits for Derby Twins. Jude Almaraz and Landon Sandy each stole multiple bases for Derby Twins. Derby Twins ran wild on the base paths, amassing four stolen bases for the game.

Kingman Islanders piled up 10 hits in the game. Jack Jewell drove the middle of the lineup, leading Kingman Islanders with three runs batted in. The infielder went 3-for-4 on the day. Mak Lerma and Ramon Corona each collected multiple hits for Kingman Islanders. Kingman Islanders had patience at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game.

Derby Twins welcome Brigade on Thursday for their next game.
